Position Summary:
Tetra Tech is seeking to add a Senior Energy Efficiency Consultant to lead projects primarily for our utility and commission clients, but also for broader industry entities. The preferred candidate will have industry experience in utilities, policy, energy efficiency, beneficial electrification, market research analytics, or energy program design and planning. The Senior Energy Efficiency Consultant will lead and complete deliverables that provide clients with a cohesive story that both informs and presents realistic paths forward. Given this high responsibility, this is a relatively senior position. Preferred candidates will be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Baton Rouge, LA; Little Rock, AR; Austin, TX; or Madison, WI. Opportunity for advancement. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and complete evaluations of demand response and energy efficiency programs
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks related to scope, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee project teams and provide performance feedback
- Ensure client satisfaction with project deliverables
- Mentor new and mid-level consulting staff
- Support and lead business development activities
- Cultivate client network and relationships
- Author professional papers and presentations
- Represent Tetra Tech at industry events
- Stay current with developments in the energy industry
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
- Minimum of 5 years working in the energy sector
- Strong project management
- Proposal writing

- Exceptional written and verbal communication
Starting Salary
$90,000-$150,000 depending on level of education, qualifications and experience
